HOW IT WORKS…
STAGE 1 - QUOTING
We’ll have an initial discussion with you to gather some details
We’ll provide a quote for you
We’ll either travel to you to copy your books or feel free to bring them to us
STAGE 2 - scanning
We’ll copy each page using specialist equipment, lighting & cameras
We can scan any extra documents or loose photos to incorporate amongst relevant pages
We will include a basic colour-match against original pages
You will receive all high resolution digital images to view or download in an easy format
STAGE 3 - processing
Optional digital restoration and enhancement is available on pages, specific images or text and original handwriting
We can amalgamate book volumes together if necessary
A full colour-matching service is available to ensure colours & tones match the original pages as best as possible when printed
STAGE 4 - print preparation
We will crop each file to the correct size for printing
We create extra ‘bleed’ to each file which ensures nothing significant is cropped off from each page when printed
We carry out test prints to check the colours & quality
Stage 5 - printing & binding
We print all new pages out on to archival paper & using archival ink
These pages are then carefully stitched & bound in to new books
A vast choice of cover materials and colours are available
Stage 6 - personalisation
We can emboss the covers in gold or silver with your chosen wording
Special die blocks can be designed & made for embossing emblems & specific text
Stage 7 - finished product
All finished books go through our quality control department
Gift boxes and gift wrapping is available
We can arrange for a secure courier to deliver them to you or feel free to pop in and collect them
