How Does It Work?
Contact Us, We Quote, You Send Us Your Artwork
Get in touch with details of your project; description of artwork, size, number of copies required. We will go through all of the details with you and outline what can be achieved along with an estimate of the costs.
When you are happy, send us your artwork (specialist courier service available) alternatively we can come and digitise your items at your premises.
We Digitise Your Artwork
Each item is assessed to ensure that we use the most appropriate digitising technique and equipment allowing the highest quality end result whilst exceeding industry archival standards.
We use state of the art equipment, including archival quality, colour balanced lighting. The lighting is adjusted and moved to ensure that each piece is photographed to be best of its ability.
We can copy items of almost any size to a very high resolution and are able to provide you with output files of any format you require (TIFF, JPEG, PDF…)
Colour Matching & Optional Enhancement & Restoration
All digital files are colour corrected as standard using colour calibrated screens to ensure a close match to the originals as possible.
We then produce a number of proof prints and continue to make minor tone and colour matches if the owner or artist requires a near exact match.
We are able to call on our 40 years experience as photographers to offer you the highest quality enhancement and restoration service should you wish us to return any damaged, scanned, images to their former glory or when removal of minor blemishes and reflections is necessary.
We Send Over The Digital Images
We send you digital images in indexed folders either via a secure download link or on a memory stick or hard drive.
We are also able to provide you with your own secure proofing webpage displaying your artwork and giving family and friends the ability to order copies themselves.
Printing New Copies
We have state of the art Giclée printers that allow us to print up to any size that you require.
We also have a huge range of different media finishes (paper, canvas, etc) available so that we can guarantee a very close match to your original.
For oil paintings we offer an optional extra service where specialists apply multiple layers of varnish to recreate the brush strokes and textures shown on the original artwork, making the copy almost indistinguishable from the original.
Framing Copies & Originals
With our own framing workshops on site, we have access to a huge range of different frame mouldings and can offer either off the shelf or bespoke made, swept frames to match exactly what you are looking for.
